“Today death met up with the killer! The killer who massacred masses and has gone to the grave without admitting that he wanted to wipe TE an entire tribe , the killer who left his coubterpart in power and they continue to kill, the killer who despite his voice against the white man continued to kill the people of Matabeleland and just called it a ‘moment of madness’.I am talking about a killer who said people are liberated but continued to kill and oppress.
This killer tribalised and made Zimbabwe a place of oppression, this killer had to die and we will be forced to forget him.I will forget him because he is the father of tribalism ,a cancer that brought a nation to its knees. He is the killer who confused freedom for oppression, whose way to silence was to kill. The killer who looted and still killed.
Dear Robert Mugabe,You could have been an icon ,but you did not finish strong, your hands are full of blood, blood of Ndebele people you killed in an endeavour to wipe all of them out.You could not stop ,you die today never having said sorry, never having said sorry to the pregnant women whose stomachs you ripped open and shot their fathers and brothers in front of their families. This person you left in power will alsi die without admitting that his hands are dirty!
You are a true reflection of democracy failure in Africa because you continued to oppress the innocent. All you did was kill the economy and drive millions out to be both in political and economic exile.
When you get to meet your fellow comrades on the other side of life, tell them you failed to run the country they fought for, admit to them that you killed them and you killed their brothers and mothers, that your running the economy took away the pensions of those who worked hard for the economy, that you looted till you wanted to kill those that looted with you till they removed you in power and they continue to loot!
When you get to the other side tell the comrades that the country was never liberated ,both politically and economically because you continued to steal, you stole the lives of great potential people that could have built the country that their fore fathers fought for, that you stole great minds and stashed it in countries where the people are called foreign and are being killed because they are foreigners!that these people that you oprresed are treated as slaves and used as cheap labour because they ran away from you.
As some celebrate your death,i stand here and reflect on the futures you cut shot because of your selfish reasons and your hunger for power.
So your death is announced from far away, from the tigerland in Singapore where there are the best doctors of the world, why could they not save you?Why did you not at least die in Mpilo Hospital or Parirenyatwa where you could have felt the sweat and heat of your works? Why did you not die where the doctors are inadeqaute of all the medical supplies you could have provided had you not stolen from the country you claim to have liberated, why did you not die like every Zimbabwean that trusted you as a leader and you could have done better to provide with all the trust sitting on you?You died from a great medical bed , but masses have lost lives and masses lost families from hospitals where nothing could be done. Many nurse and doctors have watched people die, but no one benefited from your looting.Death surely has no champion,we will all die!I rather die having made the world a better place than the insults and pain you have caused to the innocent people!
